Job Overview
Responsible to: Management
The Junior Creative 3D Designer will be a
highly-skilled creative thinker with strong communication and time management
skills, capable of designing exciting retail environments that match both the
brand and clients vision with at least 1 to 2 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Concept development
- 3D Visualisation
- Producing presentation documents
- Working Closely with Client service team,
Operations, production team and management.
- Responsible for the design integrity
throughout the project process.
- Prepare and present pitch presentations to
clients
- Ensuring that our creative product remains
leading edge and ahead of our competition.
- Ensuring that our high quality of creative
and production is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for
him/herself and others on the team.
- Responsible for the overall quality of work
produced by the creative team.
- Establish the design process and
methodology so that all the creative work is done in an efficient and
predictable fashion.
- Have an elaborate understanding of
production on fabrication and print.
- Work on scaled drawings/plans to ensure
structure of project is accurate.
- Work on project manuals for assist the
production team to be able to commence production in a seamless manner.
Core Skill Requirements
- Highly creative: a strong creative thinker
that challenges the status quo.
- Thorough understanding of three-dimensional
and retail design.
- Fluency in google Sketch-up, InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator, Power point, Hand Sketching skills and Exemplary attention
to detail.
- Excellent spoken and written communication
skills in both English and Swahili.
- Strong presentation, diplomacy and
negotiation skills.
- Effective organisational and time
management skills; ability to work at speed and manage multiple deadlines as
well as meet them simultaneously.
- Ability to work across a cross-functional
team and to appreciate other peoples perspective on work and constructive
feedback.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet
deadlines.
Qualifications
- Candidates need not have any particular
qualifications. However, it would certainly be advantageous to have a
qualification and/or degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Interior Design
- Exhibition Design
- Product / Furniture Design
- Below the line creative ideas
- Google Sketch-up
- InDesign, Illustrator,
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Power point
- Mail
- Basic IT Skills in both Windows and
MAC/Apple
