Job Summary
A Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote the company's clearing and forwarding services. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
The Head of Sales also collaborates with other departments within the company to ensure that clients' needs are met. Additionally, the Sales Manager may be responsible for developing and managing a sales team, as well as providing training and support to team members.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the clearing and forwarding sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Negotiating rates and service agreements with clients, and close sales deals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Keeping abreast of clearing and forwarding regulations and compliance requirements
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- A minimum of five (5) years working sales experience in the clearing and forwarding industry
- The candidate must have his/her own clients already
- Must have extensive knowledge of Sales Practice in the clearing and forwarding industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
