Accountant will be responsible
for ensuring smooth operation of all
aspects of accounts procedures, coordinating with all departments. The successful candidate will report
to Accounts
Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Cash and banks including,
Petty cash, Payment to suppliers and bank reconciliation
Submission of statutory returns. PAYE, WHT, SOL, NSSF, etc.
Generate EFD receipts and daily Z
report
Ensure that
invoices are sent out in a
timely
manner and include all necessary details
for customer reference
Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring all payments and adjustments
are correctly recorded and up to
date
Regularly
preparing aging reports
to
monitor
the status of
overdue accounts
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company
policies
Preparation of weekly AR reports
Preparation of monthly cash
flow estimation
Academic Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA will be an added advantage
3- 5 years' experience with Tanzania accounting standard practice
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software.
Good
working knowledge and skills Microsoft office and Excel. Proven integrity and
service minded
