Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional with
4-5 years of hands-on experience to lead HR functions, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in recruitment,
employee relations, policy development, performance management, and compliance
with Tanzanian labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
and Onboarding
- Develop
and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Oversee
onboarding processes to ensure a seamless integration of new hires
Employee
Relations
- Serve
as the main point of contact for employee grievances and conflict
resolution
- Promote
a positive work culture through engagement and feedback initiatives
Policy
and Compliance
- Develop,
review, and enforce HR policies and procedures in line with Tanzanian
labor laws
- Ensure
compliance with statutory requirements, including tax and social security
contributions
Performance
Management
- Implement
and manage performance appraisal systems to align individual and
organizational objectives
- Experienced
of KPI initiatives, implementation, and monitoring
- Provide
coaching and development plans for staff as needed
Training
and Development
- Identify
training needs and organize programs to enhance employee skills and
productivity
HR
Operations
- Manage
payroll processes, employee benefits, and leave administration
- Maintain
accurate HR records and generate periodic reports for management
Strategic
Initiatives
- Collaborate
with leadership to develop HR strategies that support business goals
- Monitor
and adapt to market trends to ensure competitive HR practices
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum
of 4-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Tanzania
- Strong
understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and regulations
- Proven
track record in recruitment, performance management, and employee
relations
- Proficiency
in HR systems and tools
- Exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability
to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
- Certification
in Human Resources (e.g., CHRP or SHRM) is an advantage
- Experience
in payroll management systems
- Proficiency
in Swahili and English
