Job Overview
As an IT Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling hardware and software products as part of a sales team.
Responsibilities
- Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client
- Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
- Deciding whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s needs
- Answering any technical questions the client might have
- Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client
- Developing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
- Assessing client IT needs and making recommendations, including IT equipment and service
- Preparing sales visits and presentations to pitch product and service to clients
- Demonstrating IT equipment to highlight product benefits
- Negotiating sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
- Providing technical advice after sales
- Establishing sales goals and implementing a plan to meet those goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or marketing
- At least 2years sales experience in IT products. Technical sales experience is a plus
- Written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, negotiation and critical thinking
- Ability to meet the sales target
- Ability to work under pressure
- High energy level and attention to Detail
