Major Requirements
- Should be a Semi qualified CPA/ACCA/ having bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
- Relevant experience of 2+ years preferably from reputed audit firm
- Should be able to handle the audit of mid- sized clients independently and large clients in a team.
- Should have sound knowledge of statutory audits
- Familiar with ISAs/IASs and IFRSs
- Moderate knowledge of taxation laws of Tanzania such as rate of PAYE, SDL, WCF, NSSF, different withholding tax, corporate tax, how is corporate tax computation done, VAT, what is VAT on foreign services etc., what is Input VAT apportionment etc
- Familiar with Audit Programs/Planning/Execution and conclusion.
- Proficiency in auditing software such as Caseware and Microsoft Office applications. Caseware knowledge will be an advantage
- Fluent in English speaking
