Job Summary
On behalf of our esteemed client, we are looking for a Branch Manager responsible for increasing the branch’s client base and revenues.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide training seminars to local
distributors for agro products usage, marketing and sales techniques.
- Market development activities in catchment
area of the branch, including maintenance of demo sites and prominent farmer
identification and promotion.
- New product identification in coordination
with head office
- Local staff delegation as appropriate
(planning, implementing and monitoring)
- Maintenance of relevant databases for
planning, reporting and follow ups.
- Planning sale trips for the local staff in
coordination with Operations Head, this will include MOBILE VAN SALES to
catchment area of 700km Radius and regular VAN STOCKS RECONCILIATION
- Driving sales via branch which will be
based in MBEYA/MAKAMBAKO, TANZANIA
- Company Asset, Stocks and Cash custodian
for MBEYA/MAKAMBAKO BRANCH
- Pricing, packaging and quality issues
coordination with operations manager
- Coordinate with head office for local
re-stocking on regular basis.
- Monthly sales Projection cycle based on
research on demand and seasons.
- Coordinate with head office on submission
of daily, monthly and annual reporting requirements (sales reports, expense
reports, daily banking summary, stock reconciliations etc. using MS Excel, Word
and email)
- Regular stock counting
Key Result Areas (KRA)
- Achievement of Sales targets
- Positive farmer outlook assessed via feedback/ survey activities.
- A better understanding of technical aspects of our products by all
local staff to better handle and advice customers on our products. This will be
assessed via live feedback.
- New idea initiatives related to specific and wider role within the
organization.
- Individual initiative on planning, budgeting and reporting (submission
efficiency)
- Reporting accuracy in all numeric reports as well as stock counting
reports (level of errors)
- Budgeting accuracy (low variances)
