Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to CEO / Director
  • Procurement of raw materials like copper, Iron or steel, Aluminum, etc.
  • Vendor development with quality assurance.
  • Evolving new sourcing strategies & Cost Management with manufacturers.
  • Identifying and developing potential domestic & international vendors/suppliers for achieving cost effective procurement.
  • Negotiations with Local, International Metal/Mining Traders.
  • Expertise in formulating buying strategies & deployment of available resources to achieve organizational business objectives.
  • Good market intelligence of World Metal & Commodities market, key governing factors like Supply/ Demand, Operating Rates, Forward/ Backward integration and regional factors.
  • A strategic planner with expertise in implementing cost saving measures in Global raw material sourcing.
  • Detailed knowledge of complete export procedures including statutory customs & shipping documentation.
  • Able to Travel 10-12 days in a month.
  • Able to set up for new branch offices & new warehouse setup and management.

Requirements

  • Graduation in B.E./B. Tech or any related stream from reputed institution
  • Language: Fluent in English (written & spoken) & Swahili
  • 5-7 years' experience in metal/ mining Industry
  • Skills: Negotiation, Export, Import, vendor development, Purchase, quality assurance, follow-up, etc.
