About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Parts Field Sales Officer with focuses on selling parts in and around Dodoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, maintaining and developing new business.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maximize parts sales opportunities
- Identifying and developing quality new and existing business that aligns with company's corporate direction and values.
- Achieving or exceeding targets
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of active new business opportunities and keeping relationships with existing parts customers
- Leading by example in areas of professionalism and time management
- Visit existing customers whilst identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Develop strong customer relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years parts sales experience in the automotive industry
- A proven track record of success in sales preferably in automotive parts background
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts background and high product knowledge
- Ability to prospect new customers and follow up to turn them into buying customers.
- Ability to retain customers.
- Manage the sales process and achieve targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A can-do attitude and attention to detail.
- Ambitious and driven to succeed in sales.
- Strong business and industry acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver license (this position involves driving to various locations)
- Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge needed.
