Job Brief
On behalf of our happy client from manufacturing industry, we are now hiring a proactive and resourceful Accountant who could independently manage the Finance-Accounting functions of the company.Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate the decision-making process and ensure success of the company
- Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
- Attend to daily finance and accounting functions of the company
- Monitoring and liaison for Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Prepare and Submit VAT and other Statutory Compliances
- Preparation of Reports on Financial Parameters and other Balance Sheet Schedules
- Prepare forecast and yearly budgets of the company and determine the financial advantages
- Coordinating with External and Internal Auditors on planning and Finalization Phase of Audit
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines and procedures for activities such as cash management, stock monitoring, inventory control
- Processing staff salaries
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- Proven Accounting/Finance experience of minimum 4+ Years
- Fluency in Swahili & English language and Excellent Business Writing Skills
- Hand on experience in any accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills and accuracy and attention to details
- Possess Outstanding organizing Skills
- Past experience in food manufacturing industry is an added advantage
