Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend to all electrical maintenance, machine electrical fault, machine assembly work in the plant
- Responsible for carrying machine/equipment/utility electrical start-up & shut down activity/preventive/breakdown maintenance of the machines
- Responsible for power changeover (TANESCO to DG) activity
- Maintain a list of spares required for the machine and to inform maintenance manager in time
- Ensure reduction of downtime hours and target shall be towards zero
- To follow all the machine/tool/electrical part safety requirements
- Ensure approval of work permit before commencing any major work at height, roof, intricate machine area & other risk oriented areas
- Responsible for documentation of daily/weekly breakdown/preventive maintenance & records
- Always adhere to PPE and safety procedures when dealing with Machines, tools & and other electrical equipments
- Assist maintenance manager for carrying out major maintenance on substation, plant wiring, transformer, etc
- Responsible for Housekeeping & cleanliness on machine or equipment after work completion & working area to be well maintained
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum requirement is Certificate Grade/level 3 or FTC (Electrical)
- 3-4 years of work experience preferably in manufacturing industry
