Job Summary
We are looking for a well experienced Air Compressor Technician to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors,
determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by
diagnostics and assessment. or malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by
diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and
repairs, you are responsible to test and document the proper operating parameters
of the compressor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide efficient technical maintenance and support of Air compressor, Dryers and related equipment and tools
- Overhaul, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, commissioning and repair of equipment and related products
- Troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical equipment, hydraulic presses, and other equipment
- Documentation of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities including updates to equipment documentation
- Ordering of replacement and spare parts
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times
- Display the ability to absorb a higher level of learning, through continuous on the job and classroom training
- Perform ad-hoc duties as when required
Requirements
- Training in Electrical, Hydraulics, and/or Pneumatics preferred
- 5 years of strong mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of equipment
- Air Compressor experience strongly desired
- Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism
- Able to complete work within assigned deadlines
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read and write in English and Swahili
