Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Marketing Officer responsible for planning and overseeing the company’s marketing activities and campaigns to ensure that all marketing operations are successful in meeting the goals set by management.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies
- Support the management in overseeing the department’s operations
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
- Recognize, study, and assess market patterns, competitor offerings and demographics to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or any related field
- Proven 3 years experience as a Marketing Officer in both online and offline marketing
- Graphic design experience preferred
- In depth knowledge of using social media advertising, like Facebook, Instagram, etc
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other marketing software (e.g. CRM)
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and organize
- Strategic vision and sharp business acumen
- Fluent in English and Swahili both written and spoken
