Job Purpose

On behalf of our esteemed client, we are looking for a Sales Manager responsible for leading and managing sales team to reach sales targets.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability objectives
  • Collaborate with the line Manager in developing yearly sales and marketing budget and strategic plan
  • Collaborate with Procurement Manager in ordering stock
  • Manage assigned customer and product categories to include, forecasting and profitability analysis
  • Work effectively with others to achieve a common goal
  • Oversee growing sales operations in the market
  • Grow the number of dealers and Customers
  • Maintain and expand customer base through innovative methods and new product offerings
  • Provide leadership to sales team to help develop sales strategies for each particular product. In the same way, provide leadership and support to sales team on how best to improve sales
  • Make customers and their needs the primary focus of one’s action
  • Use various market networks customers and all available channels to assess competitive information and customer needs

  • Manage time and resources effectively and balance competing demands to ensure work is completed
  • Understand customers requirements from a technical and commercial perspective to help the company initiatives to enhance sales and position

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Degree better in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil engineering/ Business Administration
  • At least 5 years working sales experience preferably in agricultural equipment/ construction equipment/ heavy duty equipment/ power generation equipment/truck, etc
  • Able to work independently or under minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
