Job Summary
We are looking for IT Sales Specialist responsible for selling POS software and hardware products. The successful candidate will generate IT sales and business, develop relationships with new clients, make sales visits and presentations, maintain advanced knowledge of software and hardware, and establish and meet sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and expand a portfolio of corporate clients, NGO's and Government by networking and marketing
- Assess client IT needs and makes recommendations
- Prepare sales visits and presentations
- Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
- Provide technical advice after sales
- Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the clients
- Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
- Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s needs
- Answering any technical questions the client might have
- Presenting your findings to a technical team to action, and then to the client
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies, IT, Networking or Marketing
- Minimum 5 years in IT Sales field preferably Sales of POS software and hardware
- Experience and contacts with Government, NGO's and Corporate companies
- Written and Verbal Communication
- Excellent selling skills
- Excellent technical skills
