Duties & Responsibilities
- Over all in charge of all activities carried in the workshop
- Prepares plans, estimates, and specifications to design workshop facilities
- Annual review of each vehicle to determine if fully utilized
- Schedules vehicles for lubrication or repairs based on date of last
lubrication and mileage traveled or urgency of repairs
- Prepare monthly report for fuel consumption for each truck, cost for
maintenance and repair for each truck and trailer
- Inspect the parts and make sure that parts delivered are with high quality
before fitted to the truck
- Allocate fuel to the trucks and verify if the fuel ratio allocated are right
ratio
- Contracts for repair services not performed in shop and make a follow up
- Determines work standards and evaluates workers' performance
- Analyzes requests for service and records repairs, replacements, or service
required
- Informs field service personnel of location and work to be done
- Authorizes replacement of parts
- Provides training for service personnel if necessary
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on
requisition or invoices
Requirements & Qualifications
- Advance diploma /Bachelor of Engineering - Automobile or Mechanical
- Minimum five (5) years experience in
maintenance and repair of trucks
- Candidate should be conversant with rich experience in
trucks like Howo, Scania, DAF, etc
- Candidate should be able to handle minimum 20 Mechanic and Assistant
under his/her leadership
- Good communication and interpersonal

- Good command over the English language

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Possess a sound knowledge of automobile technology
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Ability to liaise with staff at all levels Basic computer skills
- Willingness to update and adapt skills as required
- Have good practical skills sufficient to lead on setting up equipment.(engine,
gear box differential gear)
- Be able to work on own initiative and without close
supervision
