Description:

• Review the bi-annual income and expenditure received from the branch
• Prepare journals for the branch based on the income and expenditure
• Provide feedback on the Branch Financial returns
• Assist with the continuous review and assessment of internal controls and procedures to ensure adequate financial and non- financial checks and balances are in place to safeguard the financial assets of the Branches
• To respond to all queries from the branch in an efficient manner
• Review of Branch bank reconciliations ensuring all reconciling items are documented, followed up and resolved
• Timely and accurate allocation of customer collections against the outstanding, preparing the reconciliation and highlighting any discrepancy
• Handling the petty cash payments effectively for smooth operation of the branch
• Continues review and follow up with the sales team on overdue amount of customers
• Managing the bill collectors and route auditors for the region to ensure adherence to their route plan
• Involvement in monthly stock count process, ensuring accuracy of stocks
• Ensuring the settlement for the region is completed on a daily basis and any discrepancy is highlighted in time
• Provide full support to the Head of Finance and to other members of the Finance team as required

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years experience in the same field
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
• Effective time management, planning and organization skills
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and any Accounting Software
• Experience in Exact accounting system and PRP manufacturing system will be an added advantage
