Position Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and commercial driven person responsible for continually looking for business development
opportunities/new Trucks sales to fulfill customer needs - in such a way to provide both
customer satisfaction and own profitability in a short-term and
long-term perspective.
Responsibilities
- Reach agreed and committed sales target for new trucks and soft offers, volume and price
- Strengthen customer relationship, short term and long term
- Offer right transport solutions to right customers
- Capability to translate product features to relevant customer benefits and transfer to profitability for the company
- Knowledge about market and competitors
- Work in accordance to Customer Relationship Management and have a good cooperation with other departments of the company
- Find new customers and retain relationships with old existing customers
- Decide and deliver activities and targets per customer
Specify vehicles in the specific application according to customer needs
Responsible for full truck sales process
Secure aftermarket involvement during sales process of new trucks
Deliver reports on demand
Major Requirements
- Minimum University Degree in Sales, Business Administration or any related fielf
- Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales - transport industry, preferably trucks/commercial vehicles/superstructures
- Good knowledge of English Language and Swahili
- Driving licence
- Be proactive in planning with realistic time frames and efficiency
- Selling, negotiations and closing skills and ability to influence decision making in an organization
- Professional verbal and written communication skills to be able to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the customers
