Developing and maintaining business relationships with prospective and
current clients, brokers, agencies and other financial institutions, in order
to generate new business
Marketing and distribution of the company products to corporate and
related organizations
Meeting monthly and annual sales targets
Preparation and submission
of tenders
Understanding clients’
needs and recommending suitable products, understanding the market potential,
and recommending business opportunities
Gathering relevant market
information, and regularly communicating the progress on potential projects and
competitor behavior to the Line Manager
Researching and analyzing sources
for developing prospective and potential clients
Planning and organizing personal
sales strategy in line with company goals and strategy
Providing frequent verbal and
written reports
Any other responsibilities
in accordance with the growth of the company
Qualifications and Experience
required
A Bachelor’s Degree in sales
and marketing, business administration or insurance related qualification
At least 5 years sales
experience in life Insurance, medical insurance or banking
Proven valid network within the
corporate world
Good planning ability and high
level of innovation
Excellent communication,
presentation, negotiation and persuasive skills in both English and Swahili
Ability to work independently
as well as in a team
