Job Summary
On behalf of our happy client, we are looking for Duty/Camp Manager to ensure all operations flow smoothly and help the company to meet the goals within the camp.
Responsibilities
- Provide a visible management presence while on duty
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance
- Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility’s policies and procedures
- Coordinate front-office activities of the camp
- Document organizational or operational procedures
- Prepare staff schedules or work assignments
- Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures
- Train staff members
- Manage guest services
- Monitor cash flow
- Monitor health and safety throughout the hotel/camp
- Monitor the revenue activity of the camp
- Monitor activities of individuals to ensure safety or compliance with rules
- Overlook day-to-day operation of the whole facility
- Conduct employee training programs and assessment
- Communicate with customers (handling complaints, collecting ideas on
improving the operation, providing information, selling facilities,
checking premises, reporting any damages and breakdowns and checking if
repairs have been completed)
- Communicate with employees (problem solving, distributing work duties, providing all means to get the work done)
- Assist other heads of departments
Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Duty/Camp Manager or Assistant
- Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
- Calm, efficient and the ability to work well under pressure
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and security procedures
- High level of English speaking
- Team-orientation, loyalty and Guest oriented
- Flexibility, commitment, dedication and reliability
- Good manners and a positive attitude
- A hospitable and service-oriented attitude
