Job Summary
We are looking for Agro Sales Officer responsible for the sale of agricultural products such as seeds, chemicals etc to grow the company business within the assigned territory.
Job Responsibilities
- Selling a variety of agriculture products
- Locating possible new clients
- Negotiating sale prices
- Management of customer base
- Identify new key customers, determine their needs and develop plans and actions for sales territory growth
- Responsible for sales territory forecasting and analysis
- Responsible for following credit policies and managing risk for the company
- Implement marketing and sales plans
- Establish and meet sales goals
- Build product and market knowledge to add understanding and credibility
- Become primary contact between your customers and the company including deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness or any other related field
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of proven sales experience of agriculture products such as seeds, chemicals, etc
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to persuade and negotiate
- Active listening, good organizational skills
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to think critically and offer improvements and recommendations to clients
