Job Brief
On behalf of our happy client, we are looking for a skilled Painter to paint new high grade furniture to specified color. The goal is to deliver high quality painting work.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Prepare wood surfaces for painting by scraping using sandpaper, etc
- Wash surfaces to prepare them for finish application
- Mix finish ingredients to obtain desired colors
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Apply varnish and other finishes
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
Requirements
- School Certificate/Diploma/Degree Holder
- Must have a minimum of proven 3 years experience as a Furniture Painter
- Excellent knowledge of furniture painting materials and how to select, mix and apply them
- Solid knowledge of furniture painting techniques
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools like brushes, etc
- Good basic math skills
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
