Position Summary
On behalf of our happy client, we are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management duties including planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
- Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments
- Respond to any issues or complaints.
- Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
- Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
- Evaluate budgets and expenditures
- Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements
Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Logistics Manager
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
