Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have sales and marketing experience specializing in generators, diesel engines and water pumps. The position is responsible for promoting the products and services to existing customers base while expanding on that base in order to achieve corporate goals.

Essential Functions

• Sales and marketing of power generators, diesel engines and water pumps
• Manages customer relationships to achieve sales goals and executing sales plans
• Sourcing new business opportunities
• Develops new accounts and maintains existing accounts the same
  
• Visit sites and meet with customers and/or vendors to evaluate the project for pricing
• Process all service, sales, or generator quotes
• Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction
• Develops relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty
• Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing from a recognized Educational Institution of Higher Learning
• Minimum 10 years relevant sales and marketing experience required and/or equivalent industry experience
• Basic technical understanding of Generators, Diesel Engines and Water Pumps required to perform the job successfully
• Existing Industry knowledge and contacts is an added advantage
• Must be a self starter, energetic and performance driven
• Sales and negotiation skills
• Strong work ethic and high sense of motivation
• Excellent organizational, written, verbal, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Customer Service focus with experience in customer problem resolution
• Fluent in English and Swahili
