Key Responsibilities

  • Manages Branch HR & Admin department, ensuring proper allocation of responsibilities
  • Prepares yearly HR & Admin budgets
  • Ensure Strict implementation of Company Policy and Work discipline in the branch offices and sites
  • Payroll and benefit management across site and central operations
  • HR & Admin periodic statistical analysis reports
  • Performance evaluation system
  • Salaries administration, review and recommendation
  • Coordinating with legal advisors concerning employment labour law cases
  • Ensure timely renewal of various licenses, local compliances related registrations, etc
  • Facility management for company offices including rent contract, security, access cards, office furniture, bills, etc
  • Health Insurance and workman Compensation programs and managing claims
  • Ensure HR activity meets and integrates with organizational requirements for quality,H&S, legal and ethical stipulations
  • Overseeing labour accommodation
  • Overseeing of recruitment and on boarding process
  • Ensuring employee records are complete and regularly updated
  • Suggest and facilitate training and development programmes
  • Travel plans management (hotel/transport/visas/expenses)
  • Organizational structure documentation including org. chart, job descriptions, responsibilities and authority matrix
  • Documented, mapped and certified company procedures and records
  • Enhance awareness of the HR and Quality Management System among employees
  • All other HR & Admin related matters from time to time

Requirements

  • Degree Qualified in Human Resources Management. Degree or Diploma in Legal services is a plus
  • 5 - 10 years HR Experience in Tanzania preferably experience working in the construction industry, and would be best to come from the contractors companies
  • Experience of working on a large Project
  • Knowledge of Central and state laws relating to employment
  • Experience managing multiple nationalities as HR and Admin Officer
  • Energetic and go getter
  • English and Swahili speaking
