Job Summary
Interpret and translate client requirements
into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings.
Operate as a single point of contact or as part of a team (on large deals with
multiple Solutions) accountable from Stage 1 to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Market knowledge for Diesel, Gas, Thermal
and Solar based power plants
- Prepare the sales strategy for Tanzania market
- Create the strong enquiry base for
respective products/ services
- Lead and create a team of effective sales
personnel
- Analyse the market requirements,
competitor’s plans/ strategies and prepare the business plans
- Preparing presentations, proposals etc. as
per specific customer’s requirement
- Should be able to prepare tenders with the
help of supporting staff and take lead to win the same
- Making close relationship with consultants,
contractors, customers and all working staff
- Aware of Quality Assurance plans, safety
requirements and environmental requirements
- Understand and translate buyer requirements
into a standard solution, proposal and cost estimate
- Preparing the schedules, work plan,
budgeting and MIS reports
- Understand and clearly define the input
required to create cost estimates
- Collaborating as a key member of the sales
team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal
groups
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma Engineer, B-Tech will be preferred
- At least 5 - 10 years of work experience in
a similar capacity, with high success rate
- Ready to travel 20-22 days in a month
- Must have experience in selling the DG sets/
Gas sets/ Solar Power plants/ Thermal power plants and providing turnkey
solutions
