Job Purpose
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Tinter/Machine Operator responsible for supporting
the Decorative team in all painting application activities in (including decorative special effects painting) to ensure the department achieves sales target
and to meet customers expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Tint and mix paint according to order specifications
- Prepare painting samples and special effect samples
- Assist in sample application at site when required
- Timely and accurate completion of finished product
- Perform dot tests, visual inspections of tint to match order
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Mix paint (solvent and water base) for use in painting according to formulas
- Communicating with supervisors and coworkers about processes
- Orders paint, materials, and supplies
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work in
- a timely and cost effective manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Major Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4 years experience preferred as a Tinter or Machine Operator from painting industry
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Problem solving skills required
