• Full management responsibility for stores, monitor stock levels and expenditure against budget
  
• Develop and maintain professional vendor relationships at a local and international level
  
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  
• Effectively manage the financial aspects of the stores, reduce obsolete stock, define min/max stock, and order quantity levels
  
• Introduce Just-in-time processes to suit company operations
  
• Manage the daily operations
  
• Maintain documentation of  Stores policies & procedures
  
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
  
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
  
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
  
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
  
• Additional Store Manager duties as needed
  

Requirements

•  A Graduate or equivalent with demonstrable experience of stores management and supervision
  
• 5 or more years of experience at a Supervisory or Management level in stores management preferably from the transportation field
  
• Proven track record in a variety of stores management, concepts, practices, and procedures
  
• Computer skills - knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft, and PowerPoint
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills with confidence to deal with people at all levels
  
• Well developed lateral and analytical thinking skills
  
• Strong commitment to confidentiality
  
• Strong team working skills
