Job Summary
We are looking for a results driven Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management in transportation industry. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively, manage the financial aspect of the
stores, reduce obsolete stock, define min/max stock, and order quantity levels.
Responsibilities
- Full management
responsibility for stores, monitor stock
levels and expenditure against budget
- Develop and maintain
professional vendor relationships at a local and international level
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Effectively manage the
financial aspects of the stores, reduce obsolete stock, define min/max stock,
and order quantity levels
- Introduce Just-in-time
processes to suit company operations
- Manage the daily
operations
- Maintain documentation
of Stores policies & procedures
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
- Additional Store Manager duties as needed
Requirements
- A Graduate or
equivalent with demonstrable experience of stores management and supervision
- 5 or more years of
experience at a Supervisory or Management level in stores management preferably from the transportation field
- Proven track record in
a variety of stores management, concepts, practices, and
procedures
- Computer skills -
knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and
verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills with
confidence to deal with people at all levels
- Well developed lateral
and analytical thinking skills

confidentiality
- Strong team working
