Job Dimensions
- Promoting and
implementing HSEQ policy in all aspects of company's operations, involving the
following assets and staff
- Managing 4 depots and 92 stations
- Managing Product transport
by road and by rail
Major Activities
- Implement Group
Safety policies and Subsidiary Safety policies & HSE Objectives at all
sites
- Coordinate ISSSRS
implementation at Dar Depot and also ensure other depots adopt the same safety
standards
- Implement Marine Emegency
Preparedness at Kurasini Oil Jetty, involve other stake holders
- Develop a
centralized follow up system for all HSEQ issues
- Develop HSE
Committee for each site, and ensure the committee members are trained and
monthly safety meeting conducted
- Set HSE objectives
and target which ensure continuous improvement in terms of HSEQ standards
- Organize/conduct
risk assessment for each depot in every two years
- Develop procedure
for accident reporting and investigation, make sure all reported accident are
analysed to identify root causes corrective action are planned and implemented
- Assist Depot
Managers to develop Internal Emergency Plan and ensure all members of emergency
response team are trained, adequate emergency equipments are available and
drills conducted on monthly
- Register accident
report in Ramses
- Prepare HSEQ
statistics report every month
- Ensure that the
objectives, vision and policies of the Group and subsidiary in terms of HSE are
implemented with high standards and within the prescribed time using the
available resources and at the same time
ensuring that all staff are trained and motivated to perform their duties with
a high standard of Safety at their respective work places
Major Requirements
- Civil or Mechanical
Engineering degree is mandatory
- 6+ years work experience in the same role
- Good knowledge of
petroleum industry operations or industrial environment
- Auditing skills (
curiosity, analysis, reporting, auditing)
- Good communication
skills
- Capable of handling
field exercises
