Job Purpose
This is a new role created to focus solely on the sell out of the new development in line with strong business plan. The key focus will be on new business prospecting and working on high value opportunities to consistently deliver and exceed sales targets and KPI's.
Key Responsibilities
- To
identify and develop new business opportunities in the region around Arusha and
Moshi, and bringing them to fruition either directly or with the assistance of Head
Office based specialists
- Meet and exceed sales targets set via project KPI's e.g. revenue target, number of calls per day, number of appointments made per week
- Ensure that all sales enquiries are handled within sales guidelines, SOP's and enquiry handling standards
- Ensure that all telephone calls (in and out bound) are handled in a timely and professional manner
- Be proactive in the research to establish new target markets & business streams
- Undertake research to generate new business areas, client profiles and sales appointments/presentations
- Effective communication with clients throughout the booking process to ensure full understanding and management of client requirements and identification of further opportunities
- Work closely with the Team to ensure that all client details and requirements are passed over once the sale of the facility has been carried out
- Lead the follow up process for large marketing campaigns/activity
- Work with the Sales team, Conference & Events Sales team, Sponsorship Team, etc. to identify cross selling and lead generations opportunities
- Effective communication to Head of Branches and Dealers of opportunities identified
- Conduct outbound telemarketing / cold calling as required
- Ensure clean and accurate records held
- Maintain knowledge of all current promotions and product knowledge
- Be accountable for the production of sales reports, your activity reports on a daily/weekly basis
- Record, analyse and report according to systems and requirements
- Participate in match day responsibilities
- Coach and train new staff through induction and on boarding process
- Support Branches Manager with day to day administrative and management tasks
- Create and develop new initiatives that can be shared with the wider Business Development Executive team
Requirements
- Qualified to Advanced Diploma level or above,
ideally in a marketing discipline
- At least 4 years experience in Sales and Account management an
obvious advantage
- Product range to be digital
duplicators, photocopiers, copy printers and related consumables, cash handling
equipment (e.g. note counters, cash depositors, sorters), physical security
equipment (e.g. safes) and perimeter security
- Also service offerings such
as managed print services and equipment maintenance contracts
- Highly
motivated self-starter; good communicator, fluent in written and verbal English
and Kiswahili
- Unquestionable integrity
