Job Summary

Graphic Designer is responsible for all aspects of a design process in advertising, digital, illustration, signs, printing and branding. It is about using visual communication to inspire, inform and problem-solve. It is the role of a Graphic Designer to determine how to send a message and evoke a response through colour, texture, images and symbols.

Daily Tasks

• Meeting with clients to interpret the concepts they want to communicate and note their requirements.
• Determining strategies to deliver a clear message to a particular target audience.
• Preparing layouts or mock-ups of a design using illustration, text, photography, colour and computer generated imagery, using CORELDRAW software.
• Presenting designs for client approval and feedback.
• Preparing designs for digital or print publication

Major Requirements

• Degree/Diploma of Graphic Design with 3+ years experience in the same field
• Must be excellent/expert in using CorelDraw
  
• Advanced design skills
  
• An aptitude for crafting images, words, shapes and symbols
  
• Exceptional attention to detail
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• An ability work under pressure and meet deadlines
  
• Good communication skills to engage with clients
